Happy 6 Month Anniversary In South America to Us!

It's hard to believe but today is our 6 month Anniversary in Quito! It has been a wild ride so far and we are really loving our life full of new adventures everyday. I can't believe 6 months have gone by already since that first frightening day when we arrived in this crazy city. It's been a life changing move so far and we couldn't be happier and more excited to see what else comes.

Also, I'm super excited to share that Spencer's dad is here to celebrate / visit with us! We've been showing him around Quito for 2 days now and it's been so fun to share everything with him.

Yesterday we took him to the Middle of the World monument:

 

Today we took him for a hike in our favorite park with Maia:

It's been a great visit so far and it has only just started. Tomorrow morning we are headed out for a 6 day trip around the countryside to see a snow capped volcano (Cotopaxi), an erupting volcano (in Banos) and into the jungle (Tena). It's going to be great fun!  Many more pictures and stories when we return next week.
